Our Trainers

Shanda Fulmer, Owner and Trainer,
CPDT-KA, CCDT, CCDT Mentor, Service Dog Coach, Family Dog Mediator, and has completed the Master Course-Aggression in Dogs.

With over five years of owning and operating Lucky Dog Training, I’ve dedicated my career to helping dogs and their people better understand each other. My passion lies in dog behavior—why dogs do what they do and how science-based training can build confidence, clarity, and trust. I believe every dog is an individual, and when we meet them where they are, real progress happens. Whether working with everyday manners or more complex behavioral challenges, my goal is always the same: creating clear communication and confident dogs through understanding, not force.

Sam Miller, Trainer, CCDT, AKC Evaluator, Family Dog Mediator, Scent Work Instructor, and has completed the Master Course-Aggression in Dogs

I was inspired to become a dog trainer after growing up surrounded by dogs and witnessing the lasting positive impact they had on my life. That early experience shaped my commitment to helping others develop meaningful, healthy relationships with their dogs. Through training, my goal is to support both people and their dogs in achieving the happiest and healthiest relationship possible, built on understanding, trust, and effective communication.
